Rates are set by the client project, not by us, and we do not know them until a contract is in place. Work is paid hourly or per task depending on the engagement. We would rather tell you that than publish a figure we cannot stand behind.

About the Role

We are seeking native U.S. English speakers with authentic American accents to take part in simulated customer service conversations for an AI data project. As a Customer Caller, you will join semi-scripted calls with a Customer Service Agent on an online recording platform: asking questions, making requests and following an assigned caller profile, sometimes with a set emotion. About 10 hours per week, roughly 250 openings. Remote, independent contractor. Hours are estimates and not guaranteed. Not open to residents of California, Colorado, Illinois, Montana, New York, Tennessee, Texas or Washington, or of China, South Korea, the EU, the UK, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Kenya, Indonesia, the Philippines or Bangladesh. Applying includes a 60-second on-camera script read. Approved applicants join an onboarding bootcamp before role placement.

Requirements

• Native U.S. English speaker with an authentic American accent
• Excellent spoken English and natural conversational fluency
• Able to follow detailed instructions and stay consistent with an assigned profile
• Comfortable being recorded and with occasional light acting or emotion-based delivery
• A computer, reliable internet, a headset or USB microphone, and a quiet place to record
• Reliable and able to meet the agreed schedule

Responsibilities

• Take part in simulated customer service calls with assigned agents
• Follow semi-scripted scenarios and stay consistent with your caller profile
• Ask questions, make requests and share information as directed
• Record on the designated platform using the required audio settings
• Adjust tone and emotional delivery when a scenario asks for it
