Shaip is looking for detail-oriented Transcribers and Quality Analysts (QA) who are fluent in Khaash Bangla or Cholit Bangla. Work remotely, choose your own hours, and get paid for every approved task.

Shaip is building speech datasets in Tripura Bengali to help AI understand local languages that most voice technology still can’t recognise. Native speakers have already recorded the audio. Now we need people who truly understand the language to turn that audio into accurate text and check the quality.

You know how people in Tripura really talk, including the local words and accents that automatic tools often get wrong. That’s exactly what this project needs. Don’t worry if you haven’t done this before. We’ll train you on the guidelines, and our team will support you throughout the project.

What you’ll do

Transcriber

• Listen to short audio recordings in Tripura Bengali.
• Type exactly what is spoken, following the project guidelines.
• Mark speaker changes, background noise and unclear speech where required.

Quality Analyst (QA)

• Review completed transcriptions against the original audio.
• Correct spelling, missed words and guideline errors.
• Share feedback to help transcribers improve accuracy.

This is for you if

• You speak, read and write Tripura Bengali (Khaash Bangla or Cholit Bangla) fluently.
• You can type comfortably in Bengali script.
• You have a laptop or desktop, headphones and a stable internet connection.
• You have a good ear for detail and can follow written guidelines.
• For the QA role: prior transcription or review experience is preferred.
