We're looking for Mechanical Engineering and CAD Professionals who use tools like FreeCAD, OpenSCAD, LibreCAD, and Blender as part of their day-to-day workflow. Selected contributors will be paid to record their real workflows using a lightweight app we provide. Relevant backgrounds include mechanical and product engineering, industrial design, 3D printing and rapid prototyping, custom fabrication, hardware R&D, and freelance engineers who regularly model parametric parts, produce technical drawings, script geometry, or prepare models for manufacturing and presentation.
Requirements:
- Use our recording software to capture and submit sessions
- Record real, day-to-day work - sessions must be continuous and unedited
- Avoid capturing confidential, proprietary, or sensitive data, including client footage, unreleased content, passwords, personal data, and non-public material
- Use unlicensed-cleared, public, or personal footage where needed
- Idle or low-activity sessions will not be paid
Sample Tasks:
- Model parametric parts in FreeCAD, including sketching and padding profiles, driving dimensions from spreadsheets, producing TechDraw drawings with dimensions, or drafting 2D geometry in LibreCAD and exporting DXF files.
- Script parametric geometry in OpenSCAD, validate STL exports for 3D printability, or import CAD models into Blender for materials, lighting, and presentation renders.
