We're looking for professionals who use FreeCAD as part of their day-to-day workflow. Selected contributors will be paid to record their real workflows using a lightweight app we provide. Relevant backgrounds include mechanical engineers, product designers, hobbyist fabricators, and technical drafters who regularly create precision 2D sketches and 3D solid models.
Requirements:
- Use our recording software to capture and submit sessions
- Record real, day-to-day work - sessions must be continuous and unedited
- Avoid capturing confidential, proprietary, or sensitive data (including passwords and personal data)
- Idle or low-activity sessions will not be paid
Sample Tasks:
- Create a constrained 2D sketch in FreeCAD using the Sketcher workbench, specifying dimensions and applying geometric constraints.
- Extrude or revolve a sketch to create a 3D solid body, then apply additional features such as pockets, fillets, or chamfers.
- Generate an engineering drawing from a 3D model, add dimensions and annotations, and export the result as PDF or STEP.
Pay
$3–$20/3.00. Payouts weekly on Wednesdays via Stripe or Payoneer.
