## About the Role

Aligned is expanding its team of expert consultants with **talented PhD Italian Studies experts** for immediate **part-time, fully remote** work supporting **AI research**. Projects start at **$50-55 USD / hour** for newly approved experts and can scale upwards of $100 USD / hour for high-performing experts.

We are seeking individuals with a **PhD in Italian literature, Italian Renaissance studies, Italian art history, or Italian language and culture**. This is an opportunity to supplement your income with well-paying freelance projects at the world's top AI research and frontier model companies, leveraging your hard-earned skills and insights within a talented community of Italian language and culture experts.

## How it Works

• * **Payment**: Projects are paid **hourly** and start at **$50-55 USD / hour** for newly approved experts. You will be paid **bi-weekly**.

## Minimum Qualifications

* You are a **native or fluent English speaker** and can confidently write at the university level.

• * You have a **PhD in Italian literature, Italian Renaissance studies, Italian art history, Italian language and culture, or a closely related field** from a reputable university.
• * You have a minimum of **3 years of academic or professional experience** in Italian studies at a well-regarded organization.
• * You possess **exceptional communication skills**, with a proven ability to explain complex cultural and literary concepts clearly to both expert and non-expert audiences.
